Mechanism of Action and Indications
MANVERT FOSIKA has a double action due to its formulation with the phosphite ion:
- Nutrient Supply: It furnishes the plant with potassium and phosphorus.
- Defense Improvement: It improves the plant’s defenses from fungic parasitic attacks, especially from Oomicetes (Mildium). It is also effective to prevent Phytophtora and Ph. parasitica, which cause rottenness, watery fruits, and gumminess.
- Systemic Action: Due to its special formulation, it has good penetration in the plant, giving good ascending and descending systemia. This ensures the product is present in leaves, neck, and roots, as all elements it contains are wholly assimilable.
- Applicability: MANVERT FOSIKA can be applied to any kind of crop.

- Special Application: The parts affected by rotting can be painted with a solution containing 500 cc/hL
- Foliar Method: When applied by foliar means, all the plant should be wet, especially the trunk and the leaves.
- Fertirrigation Method: When applied by means of fertirrigation, it is immediately absorbed by the roots.
- General Instruction: Use under technical agronomical advice. Shake before use.
Compatibility and Mixing Order
- Mixing Order for Foliar Spraying: 1st WATER – 2nd MANVERT FOSIKA – 3rd PHYTOSANITARY.
- Incompatibility (Do NOT mix with):
- Mineral oil.
- Products that have alkaline reaction.
- Sulphures.
- DIMETOATE.
- Products that contain copper.
Copper Application Interval
- If applying a product containing copper after MANVERT FOSIKA, a period of 10 days is required.
- If MANVERT FOSIKA has to be applied after the application of copper derivatives, the waiting period is 20 days.
